Join our online discussion group

The branch has for a while had an online discussion forum for the exchange of ideas, requests, etc. and needs new members.

The group - Cardiff NUJ SmartGroup - costs us nothing and is a useful and easy way for members to share and request information. Members can send an email to the group that is then automatically sent to all members of the group. You may reply to the entire group or to the individual concerned directly to his or her own email address.

Members can choose to receive postings immediately or once a day in digest format, which is useful if your mailbox is already overloaded.

Although we haven't done it yet, the forum can also be used to post minutes of meetings, agendas and hold votes. It is possible to hold a virtual meeting.

Only a handful of members have signed up so far but to make it more effective, we need a bigger group. To join, you need to be invited by the group's manager, branch treasurer Andrew Draper. Email your request to me at andrew@nordicinternational.co.uk.
